Toxicologic Pathology is dedicated to the promotion of human health through the dissemination of knowledge, techniques, and guidelines to enhance the understanding and practice of toxicologic pathology. The journal publishes timely high-quality, original research articles that integrate the pathophysiologic effects of exposure to xenobiotics and other toxicants on organisms and organ systems. Articles include both pathology and toxicology and focus on morphological, functional, biochemical, and/or biomarker changes to better understand the pathophysiologic mechanisms of toxicants in vivo and in vitro. Toxicologic Pathology also publishes timely in-depth current topic review papers, symposia papers, brief communications, best practice articles for scientific and regulatory processes, position papers on current regulatory issues, and fast-track articles.
